Cocoa Butter for Minor Burns

When I was a little girl, I opened the Frigidaire as I would often do when I was looking for something to eat or drink. I happened to discover a rectangular stick of cocoa butter neatly wrapped in white paper with measurements lines and numbers on it. I was surprised and enchanted by the nutty cocoa smell. I turned to show and ask my parents who were both in the kitchen in the middle of deep conversation what it was. They both looked at me with surprise looks on their face answer my inquisitive question as cocoa butter. Then asked why was it in the door of the Frigidaire like regular butter. My parents told me the cocoa butter was placed in the refrigerator to keep it cool. That the cooler temperature inside the refrigerator would help the cocoa butter last longer. The reason they have cocoa butter in the kitchen is for minor burns and sores.
