Ingredients

  • 4 qrt Strawberry juice
  • 1 1/3 qrt Evamor Artesian water (cold) or Kentwood Springs water (cold) or Abita Springs Water (cold)
  • 3 Pounds of Domino's Granulated Sugar

  • Utensils

  • Cuisinart food processor
  • Cuisinart juice machine
  • Crock with lid
  • Spoon
  • Large fresh glass jug with its lid
  • Bottle funnel

  • Prep

Carefully clean thoroughly the bottle and dry well before bottling the strawberry wine.

Thoroughly clean the Cuisinart food processor and dry the machines parts.

Assemble the Cuisinart food processor with the mixer attachment.

Pour the 1 1/3 quart of water and 3 pounds of granulated sugar into the Cuisinart food processor.

Mix l'eau and the sucre thoroughly inside the food processor.

Let the well incorporated leau et sucre mixture stand for 24 hours before adding the strawberry juice into it.

Thoroughly wash and rinse the juicing machine

Lave les fraises (the strawberries) thoroughly with a tiny piece of Marseille soap and eau.

Rinse thoroughly les fraises and pat dry with a fresh clean towel.

Put at a time a strawberry into the juicer.

Let the freshly extracted juice of the strawberries rest for two days.

After the wine sits for two days, skim thoroughly from the top.

Set the mixture of strawberry juice and sugar water aside in a cool place to slowly ferment for about six days.

On the six day of fermenting the strawberry wine, remove the froth that has collected and close the lid of the crock, tightly.

When the wine has settled well, which should be in about two days, and without disrupting the settlement which lays at the bottom of the crockpot, draw off.

Bottle the strawberry wine and seal shut tightly.
