Martin Luther King, Jr. Day | Family Festival ~ Froebel Home Education

Martin Luther King, J.R. Day, like most of the United States of America, is celebrated and observed, in a Froebel Home Education and is categorized in Friedrich Frœbel’s terminology as community gathering and subcategorized as family festivals. My Grande grand Abuela, Great- Grandmother Thomas (East Florida Créole) loved Martin Luther King, Jr., and hung a medium sized picture of him, along with Jésus, and her mother on her wall. Several discussions I would have with my Abuela about Martin Luther King, J.r. started after one weekend sleepover lead to several of my inquisitive observation. I will get into her custom of having a picture of MLK on her wall shortly in the following paragraph. And years later my Padre/Popa, has a painting hanging in his hallway that leads to his bedroom several Male African American descent prominent figures and MLK was included in the depiction.
