French Milled soap is a soaping process developed in Marseille, France and her surroundings region. The Marseille soap method Is not the only French method of making soap. Our soaping method is classified as an Parisian and Avignon method of soapmaking.

What is the difference between French milled soap and Cold Processed soap? French Milled soap is a soap that famously made is Marseille, France and the nearby region, hence the associated name Marseille soap. Marseille soaps when milled are put through a milling process at a minimum of three times when the soap has been cooled and de-molded after their first soap boiling process. Since, the French milled soap have natural colorants, essential oils, flowers and herbs and glycerin added in the last milling process, some believe Marseille French Milled soap as cold process soap.
