Today in history is the day that The Battle of Gettysburg took place. I want to take sometime and write about the Battle of Gettysburg and the Bayberry Candle. The historical significance of the Bayberry candle is rarely, if even, discussed.
Not only were Louisiana Créoles fought on the battle of Gettysburg, as the Louisiana Tigers, but the Louisiana Créole Candle, the Bayberry Candle (s) was also front and center on the Gettysburg battlefield.
